How to get to Oxford

If you’re traveling from far away, the nearest major airport is Memphis International, about a 1 hour, 15 minute drive away. If you’re a pilot or want to get fancy, there is a municipal airport in town called University/Oxford Airport.

How to get around in Oxford

We do have a city bus system, but it does not run as frequently or as late as y’all bigger city folks may be used to. Cars are the easiest way. You can rent one or you can use Uber or Lyft. They are reliable and usually available 24 hours a day. We also have old-school taxis, and our favorite driver is Austin Blake. His number is 662.816.5742. (Nice chain hotel, on the edge of downtown, about a half mile from the wedding venue. Has a rooftop bar/restaurant)

The Tru by Hilton and the Hampton Inn

(Solid chain hotels on Sisk Avenue, about a seven minute drive from downtown. These hotels offer a shuttle service to downtown/the square.)
